OUR STORY
Vakrnit Design Studio born out of a passion for merging traditional fabric with modernity through design. This studio is a brainchild of Ar. Pratyasha Paridhi based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Our services encompass architecture design, interior design, and branding consultancy. The name Vakrnit* combines 'Vakr / वक्र ' means 'curve' in Sanskrit and 'Nit' means 'to weave' in Serbo-Croatian, symbolizing the weaving of ideas into cohesive and inspiring designs.
At 'Vakrnit', we celebrate the essence of traditional fabrics, draws on local inspiration, embrace simple geometry, and prioritize an intuitive user experience — Vakrnit creates designs that are timeless yet forward-thinking.
Vakrnit design studio isn't just about spaces or brands; it’s about crafting experiences that leave a lasting impact — rooted in yesterday, designed for tomorrow.
*Choosing the unique name Vakrnit was also made possible by my online educational groupmate Una Baković who also helped me in finding it.

The intricate grid in the image reflects the underlying geometry and structural logic of the Rajarani Temple, serving as a perfect metaphor for Vakrnit Design Studio's approach to design. Vakrnit Design Studio's core philosophy through a structured grid layout, symbolizing balance, order, and precision as the foundation of design. The four interconnected elements—ପାରମ୍ପରିକତା (Tradition), reflecting timeless architectural influences; ଅନୁଭବ (User Experience), emphasizing human-centric, functional designs; ସରଳତା (Simplicity), rooted in minimalism for clarity and ease; and ସ୍ଥାନୀୟତା (Local Inspiration), celebrating regional identity and culture. The diamond-shaped arrangement highlights the harmony and interdependence of these principles, while the overlay in the third panel visually integrates these values to signify that great design arises when tradition, locality, simplicity, and usability converge seamlessly. The final panel culminates in the Vakrnit logo, grounded in the grid, representing a modern, thoughtful approach rooted in heritage.
